As a UX practitioner, so many possible design and research tools are available that there isn't one that is industry-standard. Some are priced for individuals (like Axure); others are priced for enterprise (UserZoom currently starts at $24k/year). I paid for some UX tools, including Axure, myself and use them for both clients and side projects. If a prospect wanted me to use UserZoom and wouldn't reimburse me for buying it, I wouldn't work with them. It would take too long to recoup the cost. | |
